Brookie

This weekend we briefly visited Phoenix and stayed with Auntie Jaime. One of my best girlfriends from college came by for a visit (she's 31 weeks pregnant with a baby girl!) The twins had a great time playing with her and we got a couple adorable pictures of her belly!

Jude and Izzie had so much fun at art yesterday. They are so into drawing and painting and absolutely loved being big kids. We went with our friends Ethan, Arno and Riley and everybody made their own beautiful masterpiece! And yes, we did taste a little bit of everything!

Izzie and Jude got a new activity table for Christmas from Mimi & Papa. We set it up last night in their playroom and let them go to town this morning. They are very into drawing these days and they had so much fun. Izzie stored her crayons in the little drawer and Jude drew all over the entire paper! It was so cute to watch :)

Thanksgiving in Telluride!

We traveled 7 hours by car to Telluride for Thanksgiving. We met up with Jaime, Todd, Michelle & Steve and stayed at a quaint little house off of Main Street. It was such a fun and relaxing trip! Here are a few photos of us all hanging out....

A couple things to note:

1) We are really good at faking hurt these days.

2) When I watched this clip later I realized that at the end she isn't playing in the trash but

is simply attempting to clean up her cheerio mess from earlier. I should have commended her!

Grandpa G.

Last weekend our grandpa came to visit Colorado. We had so much fun hanging out with him and were so busy running around to birthday parties, swim lesson, the aquarium and dinner...we forgot to take very many pictures! Here are a couple pics of us spending time with G.G. after naps. We love him!

Mama's little break (aka Napa with the girls)

This weekend Izzie and Jude stayed over at Mimi and Papa's house so that mommy could travel to Napa for a bachelorette party. I heard storied about the twins having so much fun with the grandparents. From Izzie falling in love with the GIGANTIC lion who lives upstairs to Jude kissing Mimi repeatedly on the lips, they couldn't have had a better time! As for mama....I sure missed my babies but so enjoyed a little time away with my best girlfriends. We took a limo to Domaine Carneros, Folio and Trefethen and had all kinds of delicious tastings and yummy cheese platters. Here are a couple pictures from my trip:

Day at the Farm

Today is Saturday and Daddy has to work. Mommy decided we should make another trip up to Sunflower Farms to say hello to our barnyard friends. We absolutely LOVE the goats and llama....we fed them lots of corn kernels (and ate a few ourselves!) We also saw cows, pigs, chickens, horses, donkeys, bunnies and a turtle! It was a fun morning!
